The Mildura Rural City Council website has a huge amount of information available for newcomers to Mildura. You can find out about events and festivals in the area, details about library services, garbage collection...and lots more.
You can also visit the Mildura Visitor Information & Booking Centre to find out more about what Mildura has to offer (The Alfred Deakin Centre, corner of Twelfth St & Deakin Av).

Young families
Mildura Toy Library is a non profit organisation offering a wide range of quality toys, games, puzzles, musical instruments and equipment for children from birth to approximately 7 years.
Meeting places with young children:
Expresso Drive (218 Deakin Av) has a dedicated play area for the kids, spacious seating so prams aren't squeezing in between tables and great coffee!
Mildura Park for Play is an enclosed park on Eleventh St between Dyer Ave & Flora Ave (heading out towards Merbein).
Jaycee Park is located on Hugh King Drive along the riverfront.
Water Park is down at the river front for young children to paddle and play in.
Sport & Recreation

There are a huge range of clubs in Mildura, something to suit everyone’s taste, from Mildura Calisthenics Club (tamdavs@bigpond.com) to Mildura Motorcycle club, Sunraysia Bushwalkers, Mildura Lawn Tennis Club....and lots, lots more.
